Silverware polish for simple repair of silver objects
The silver jewellery polish applies a layer of silver to the object to repair damage or worn patches. Silver or silver-plated objects, from candleholders to jewellery, can easily be replated completely or in places. HG silver plating polish is also suitable for replating copper, bronze, brass and nickel.
How do you use HG silver plating polish?
Complete the following steps to repair the silver coating on damaged and worn silver objects with HG silver plating polish:
- Protect your work surface with an old cloth or newspaper.
- Shake the bottle of HG silver plating polish well before use.
- Apply a small amount of silver polish with the supplied cloth.
- Rub it firmly into the surface you wish to silver plate for 15 to 20 seconds.
- If necessary, repeat this treatment several times until you have obtained a complete cover.
- Now polish lightly, preferably with an HG silver shine cloth or with a clean, soft and dry cloth.
- Clean cutlery with soapy water after treatment.
Only for polishing:
- If you just want to polish silver or silver-plated objects, polishing with HG silver plating polish for a few seconds is enough.
- Now polish lightly, preferably with an HG silver shine cloth or with a clean, soft and dry cloth.
- Clean cutlery with soapy water after treatment.
