• HG tile cleaner is designed for regular cleaning of ceramic tiles and non-limey natural stone. Also suitable for use on decorative gravel floors. Dilute 25–100ml in 5 litres of water, depending on the degree of soiling.

Solutions for cleaning tile floors

Some household methods can be tried if you want to clean without specialist products. Bear in mind that these methods don't always give optimal results and can sometimes carry risks:

• Vinegar and water for light cleaning. Spray it on the tiles, leave to work for a moment and brush gently. Rinse with clean water to remove acid residue.
• Baking soda paste for stubborn stains. Apply to the stain, leave to work and scrub gently with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.
• Mild detergent with warm water may be sufficient for regular maintenance. Make sure to rinse well to avoid soap residue.

These can sometimes help but may not deliver consistent results and can carry risks depending on the tile type. Specially developed cleaning products often give better results without risks. Preferably choose products suitable for the specific type of tiles in your bathroom.
