How do you use HG waterproof for clothes and fabrics?
There are various methods to waterproof textiles and to make them dirt repellent.
Waterproof cotton fabric with the hand-wash method:
- Ensure that the clothing to be treated is clean and dry.
- Add 6 litres of water to a bucket and add the entire bottle of HG waterproof for clothes and fabrics.
- Put the clothing in the bucket and turn it regularly during 15 minutes.
- Then rinse the clothing with cold water, hang it up and leave it to air dry.
- Preferably iron the clothing before it is fully dry, because this enhances the effect of HG waterproof for clothes and fabrics.
Waterproof cotton textiles with the washing machine method:

- Leave the cycle to finish and dry the clothing in the usual way.
- Preferably iron the clothing before it is fully dry, because this enhances the effect of HG waterproof for clothes and fabrics.
